15th Century Christmas

Christmas
By the 15th century Christmas tree decorating custom had changed slightly with the inclusion of ornaments. For the most part early ornaments were food items including; apples, onions, pears, nuts, candies, and fruits were placed on the tree. The custom of using food for decoration would continue, until the beginning of the 19th century.
